The meeting was the most significant event and strongest ray of hope to end post-election violence that the country has plunged into and so far claimed more than 600 lives and left almost 300,000 displaced.I suppose just getting them to talk together while their country fractures is a step in the right direction. It just seems to me that their pleas for peace are still very much muted by their own interest.
